BridgeSphere visited Strong Tower Academy through RISE for Mental Health, engaging teachers and management on 5 November 2025 and students on 6 November 2025. Across the two dates, the outreach reached 163 people: 28 teachers and management staff, and 135 students.

Supporting the school community

The staff outreach covered mental health awareness and stigma, teacher wellbeing and stress, supportive classrooms, recognising student distress, supportive conversations and school referral pathways. The focus connected staff wellbeing with their role in supporting students.

Practical learning for students

The student outreach covered recognising distress, supporting a friend and challenging stigma. Resilience and coping skills included breathing, grounding and problem-solving. These themes formed part of mental health education, rather than clinical assessment or treatment.
